    You CAN so eat them – the seeds. The pods themselves are too fibrous. Use seeds in soups or dry for adding to other dishes later.I used to.
    Splashy flowers, too! And some birds and butterflies go for them.
    Lovely, clear picture, with the good, green lustre of the fresh inside of the pod.contrasted against the bean seds.
