    Glowing flower — how beautiful! Mom used to introduce us to different exotic fruits every now and again; I remember eating prickly pears (isn’t the flesh red?) as a child. Years later I learned that prickly pear is the one cactus considered a native in New England, where it grows (not rampantly, but it does grow) on Cape Cod.

    To see lots of these in bloom must be a lovely sight! I like the colors = and this is quite different from the azure clematis.
