Nature’s Gold by Frost

Have to post this one before the colors fade to green. This is my favorite time of year. "Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leafs a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay."

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. And the second time in three days that I’ve heard that poem, which my friend Julia recited to me as we walked around my garden looking at the spring ephemerals. Thanks so much!
