Busy Bees

Rees Fruit Farm has been in operation since 1901 just outside Topeka. They have the best apple cider. It is not pasturerized, so none of the grocers can sell it. You have to drive to the farm to get it. It is only about 6 miles from my house, and the drive is easy and beautiful this time of year. They had these bees in a glass window, so you can watch them making their honey. It is delicious.

Cool, cool photo. It reminds me of the beehive that is/used to be? at the KU Natural History Museum, where the bees could go into and out of the building and be visible inside their hive.
